The Frailty of Fairness and Justice

Honorable justice and fairness are no longer a part of today's society, they are past ideals that we longingly look at in the pages of history.

"We must always fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil that we must fear the most, and that is the indifference of good men. " -The Boondock Saints

We live in a time where injustices are looked over and even glorified. This is no longer a society where we can look and find unblemished modern heroes. And now we no longer have or make time to look at examples from the past for those heroes of impeccable moral standing.
We are plagued by those who stray even further from the principles modeled and upheld by those heroes of yesteryears. "It's okay to do what you feel," they say, or "they were made to act that way." These enemies of good believe it is society's responsibility to defend those who are clearly out of the bounds of decency. And by doing so they have, and continue to, set a precedent. Year after year and decade after decade our children grow into a new world of legalized decadence. When will we once again look to the examples of holiness and goodness, those who have walked the path of righteousness, as the fundamental steppingstones of our morals and values?
Understand, God is not blind, nor is he deaf, city after city has fell for their ways. As he loves us, he will discipline and punish those who have forgotten his codes of behavior. Those who dare to look in man's past can see how Sodom and Gomorrah faired. How much is our society different?

"Now you will receive us.
We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
We do not want your tired and sick.
It is your corrupt we claim.
It is your evil that will be sought by us.
With every breath, we shall hunt them down.
Each day we will spill their blood, 'til it rains down from the skies.
Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior, and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
There are varying degrees of evil. We urge you lesser forms of filth, not to push the bounds and cross over, in to true corruption, into our domain.
For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day you will reap it.
And we will send you to whatever god you wish. " -The Boondock Saints
